Baptism:

It is with holy happiness that God added to his church 8 more souls this year. This has been attained in the first three months of the year before lockdown period. In Mabvuku, Red Roofs (a location of People with Deafness) has proved to a great potential as we have harvested more than 4 souls in the same area in one month after training coordinators of two nearby churches. Amongst the four is a family of two. If was not of the pandemic, we believe we could have harvested more souls for the kingdom of God. We pray God pave away for more souls as we plan to focus on this location in the coming year by God’s grace.

Bible Studies:

VOP (Voice of Prophecy) is a vibrant tool in educating our members. Though it takes a while to finish the course, patience led to a 5 completing their course this year. 20 are still studying through the lesson.

Training:

7 trainings in two-week sessions were conducted from January to March. 6 Basic Sign Language physical trainings were conducted in local churches. One online seminar conducted in June. Due to our situation and financial crisis we could not conduct Sign Language Interpreters refresher course this year.

Outreach:

Our outreach programs have been mainly done through media. And to a greater extent we had a privilege of visiting our loved ones in hospitals, children’s homes, old people’s homes and vulnerable children in Chitungwiza and the above-mentioned community of Hopely. I have also conducted SL training programs at CITMED Hospital for two groups of nurses and nurse aid students. Programs like Human rights and advocacy awareness in partnership with Organizations of People with Disabilities like Deaf Trust Zimbabwe and Federation of Organization of Disabled people in Zimbabwe. Four Deaf friends graduated their Diploma in Social work, whilst one of them is our interest whom we have been worshiping with for 2years. This had also lifted the flag of success and inspiration to fellow Deaf members, in fact, the entire possibility Ministries group.
